I guess my psychic ability is a little unusual, as I didn't discover it until comparatively late in life… I don't recall more than a few insignificant “psychic experiences” from my childhood.

However, all my life, I've been fascinated by and drawn to the study of “ESP” and paranormal phenomenon. In late 2007, my fascination bordered on obsession when I became involved with paranormal investigation – but only from the purely technical and scientific approach. I believed in life after death and the concept of earthbound spirits or “ghosts” but I was first and foremost a skeptic. My opinion when it came to the use of psychic mediums in paranormal investigation was that they were to be “seen and not heard.” …But around the time I began participating in paranormal investigations, I also began putting out the prayer to the Universe that I was ready – ready to be of service to Spirit, by whatever means Spirit intends. I had no idea what I was in for!

In July of 2008, a fellow paranormal investigator and “sensitive” told me that I had the gift and encouraged me to develop it. I laughed in his face, until I received a reading from a well-known psychic medium who confirmed this and also advised me to “document, document, document!” She also predicted that in the near future I'd be working with law enforcement to solve crimes and locate missing persons.  Well, as skeptical as I was of that prediction, to my surprise, it turned out to be accurate!

Since then, I've learned so much about this ability. I no longer feel compelled to go into haunted locations to experience spirits – I'm finding they are everywhere and many of them want to communicate. If it's not already obvious, my passion is mediumship – communicating with those on the Other Side, and especially delivering messages to their loved ones on this side.  I also feel extremely grateful for the opportunities to assist with criminal and missing persons cases.

Each spirit I meet touches my heart and leaves a mark behind… My heart has become a canvas of souls. 

Skepticism and humility are healthy traits to have, but in a sense they could also still be holding me back a little. The biggest challenge I'm currently facing in my development right now is in learning to trust what I see and have confidence in the information – and in myself. This is why I am here.

Every day Spirit nudges me further and further down this path. With each unique spirit I encounter, I develop a deeper love and commitment for this work, a closer connection to Spirit, and a more richly inspiring sense of purpose. Although sometimes encounters with spirits are emotional and even draining, I couldn't be more grateful for this gift and the sense of fulfillment and joy it has brought to my life. I stand on my tippy-toes, stretch out my arms wide, and shout to the Universe, “YES!” and “THANK YOU!!!!”
